The Boules Festival and Tournament is organised and run entirely by volunteers and doesn’t happen without the help and support from local people. If you would like to volunteer on the day please email us on email@example.com.
We particularly need volunteers to set up before the Tournament (9.00am Friday and 6.30pm Friday for setting up pitches/marquees/bar, plus 6.00am Saturday for putting down the sand etc) and to help restore order to the High Street and take down marquees on Saturday evening, from 6.30pm. If you’ve got a rake, then bring it along!
The Boules Tombola always proves to be a great crowd pleaser every year; can you help by donating a few gifts and prizes by dropping them at any of our collection points prior to the event – Tolsey Surgery, the Post Office (c/o Pauline Smith), 4 Strongs Close (Ann Lawrence) or Pheasants’ Crossing, Sandpits Lane (Margot Holland).
We hope you’ll enjoy a fabulous day on the Boules Pistes on Saturday 13 July with live music, amazing street food, new ales and Pimms at the pop up bars, shops galore, children’s play area, and so much more!
And remember, this amazingly unique event couldn’t happen without your help!
Happy Boules Day!
